He didn't go to school, he was home schooled
and got hired as a help to a famous painter/not a teacher
never taught him anything and thought of him as an odd human.
DaVinci was born talentd, drawing and painting don't require reading and writing..but he reads and writes his own way. if left be, he will deliver, it is a condition known to
affect those with great distrust because of trauma in their childhood but sharp minded still, therefore they dislike being taught by anyone, he knew he was a superintellegnet man since he was a child.

My personal opinion was that he did good in school because he didnt look like the other students and did not fit in so he had plenty of time to be studious

Da Vinci was informally educated in latin, geometry, etc. He was an apprentice to an artist named Verrachio. He could have been a good student, although he had a form of dyslexia.

Most people of genius are lousy students because they tend to be rebellious. They are distracted by higher levels of thought and questions which would not occer to the average student.

They rebel against the oppressive authoritarian nature of educational institutions and only progress when they are permitted to soar on the wings of their own genius.

da Vinci would have hated his school and teachers. Realising they were grossly interlectualy beneneath him.

There are millions of teachers but very few who have the capacity, patience or intelligence to inspire someone like da Vinci.
