This poem is written on embossed paper stitched to an 1838 Beauties of the Bosphorus. It is hand written in faded black ink
The first part of the poem reads:
I go-will thou regret me?
And ne'er-Oh ne'er forget me?
Have I attained that power
That even for one short hour
Thou will remember me?
