Ultimate fate of the universe discussion

Did GOD create the universe? was there a big bang could God have used a big bang to create the universe. Does God have a 24 hour day same as we or can Gods day be 24 million years or 24 billion? I myself have concluded this universe is by His handy work. I do not know the length of his day; how-ever the universe it came about and if it comes to an end He was and will be in charge!

Yes, the big bang happened. The science is irrefutable. Why must we conclude, though, that a supreme being willed it to happen?

If there is a God who created the universe, we must ask ourselves, who created God? Until we have an answer to that question, we cannot know where the universe really came from.

Actually, the Big Bang never happened. Since the "anomaly" was infinitely small, infinitely dense, infinitely hot, infinitely curved in space-time, there was no time or space beyond it. So time and space began AFTER the explosion, because time and space are related. You couldn't have stood anywhere to witness the big bang because there was no space to stand, nor was there time to witness it happening. So, in that sense, it never happened. God just said "Let there be light". And there was light. And God saw that it was good. So, how would a physicist explain a googol atoms coming into being from nothingness?

God always has and always will exist.

To end this matter, I was here 2 billion years ago. God created the universe and He hath no origin but He was there when there was no universe. No big bang that happened but the work of His fingers to exist universe.

You could be right for your scentences. but remember that if their is another space-time in which we cannot live that you wrong. take an example that their is another space-time in which difernt creatures are living and they also invent a concept of god. but surprisingly they didnt know that their is another universe in which we are living so they could be wrong for their intentions so this conclude thaT THE SCENTENCE WHICH YOU HAD SPECIFIED "LET THEIR BE LIGHT" WILL BE INCOMPLETE. IT WILL JUST MAKE OURSELVES REALXED BECAUSE IT WILL SAY THAT THEIR IS A GOD IN THE FORM OF LIGHT WHO CREATED THE UNIVERSE. SO WE SHOULD ALWAYS RELY ON SCIENCE FOR THE ANSWERS THAT ONLY WE CAN DEFINE NOTHINGNESS. WE SHOULD BE CURIOUS AND SHOULD ALWAYS ASK QUESTIONS,BUT THEIR SOME QUESTIONS WHICH CANNOT BE ANSWERED BEACUSE THEIR IS NO ONE TO ANSWER THEM. UNTIL THAN STAY AS A RESEARCHER.

I believe that yes, God did indeed create the universe.

Was there a 'big bang'? No one knows. However the presence of background radiation in the universe suggests an explosion of some sort. Perhaps a controlled explosion?
Are genesis and the so called big bang theory the same thing?

There is so much that the big bang/darwinian theory simply does not account for, in fact it ignores and even covers up to some extent the most important questions of our existence.

A few examples:

Contrary to what some people believe, the brain doesn't think. The brain is composed of physical matter. Matter doesn't think. The mind thinks and feels. The mind is non physical. So what is the mind and where did it come from? Clearly we are more than the sum of our parts.

Our solar system and our planet are far too complex for all of this to have come about by chance. There are a long list of factors that govern the existence of life on earth e.g exact distance from sun, strong elctromagnetic field, laws of gravity, strong nuclear force, weak nuclear force, proton mass, electron mass, speed of light, water etc. I could go on. These factors are all EXACTLY correct (or fine tuned if you like) here in our solar system.

Another thing that strikes me is a solar eclipse. You see, we just dont get solar eclipses here, we get PERFECT solar eclipses. This means that the size of the moon is directly proportional to the size of the sun in terms of distance for a perfect solar eclipse. In other the words, the moon is EXACTLY where it needs to be.

Is all this just a coincidence? I think common sense tells us the answer is no.

We dont know where life came from or even what it is. If it was 'just an explosion' then how do we account for life. An explosion does not create life. And if life already existed prior to the explosion - surely the tremendous temperatures during and after would sterilise anything even resembling life a million times over??

This is a huge topic so I will stop there for now. But to conclude, I think you are absolutely right - God is in charge!

And the only thing to do is to research and believe in what you think is right, but the question has still not been answered:Does GOD exist?and if he does, where is he?and if he doesn't,why so?
