Does anybody know how to setup the communication between laptop and panelview 1000?
Recently, i try to setup the communication with RS-232 cable 2711-NC13 by RSLinx. In RSLinx, i selected RS-232 DF1 Devices , then clicked "Auto config" but failed to establish the communication. And i also tried to download applications to my PV1000, it showed "Error 2018 -If you are using a direct connection to a PanelView via DF1, insure that the PanelView does not have its printer port enabled.". From the error message, it seems need to change the port mode to "disable printing" , i already tried to do that, but it was not allowed to do that. Does anybody has any idea? Thanks!
