Dear all,

now i'm doing a research about producing chiral compound from olefin base prochiral substrate. I have tried to utilized some of short chain of olefin substrates but the result were not so satisfying. Then I want to try to utilized more bulky substrate. I found that most of bulky olefins which contain olefin group are in carboxylic acid form which means I have to convert to its methyl ester before analyze it by GC. Has anybody even done the similar research as me? would you please to give me such suggestions or other compounds to be used which are commercially available?
