Dear Sir or Madam,

I would love to know where the name "Princes End" originates, My best guess is that it may be linked to the English civil war due to its close proximity of the battle of Tipton Green, May be Oliver Cromwell called this area Princes End.

I have been trying to find out for a long time, I hope you can help.
