I used to like Delaware, until I found out how big of aholes their police are. I got stopped doing 40mph in a speed limit 30 zone. Rather than writing me out a ticket for $100, the officer acted like he was doing me a favor by giving me a PBJ, probation before judgement, and all I had to pay was the court cost. Well, I was in a hurry to make it to the cigarette store before they closed. Instead, I got pulled over and had to wait a lengthy period for the PBJ to print out. Needless to say, I had to go back to Delaware the next day for cigarettes, but at least I didn't have a $100 ticket and points. I then find out the "court costs" are $170!!! Now I gotta spend $170 for driving 40mph? It was a money making speed trap scam run by the Delaware Police. I would've rather had a 2 minute $100 ticket and not had to come back the next day. Instead the cop tried to make it seem like he was doing me a favor. Well, now I gotta go back a 2nd time to attend court and pay an extra $70. Gee, thanks mr. officer. Any money that I had saved by going to DE for cigarettes is now wasted on some pigs salary. I would like to just say that if you're planning on going to DE for cigarettes or to save money on taxes, that it's smarter to stay home and support your local economy. Don't waste your hard earned money paying $170 "warnings" in Delaware. I was glad to see all the dead officers in Delaware at the start of this forum, serves em right for giving out bogus tickets. So remember Mr. DE officer, when you write out that lame ass PBJ that there's a mack truck w/ your name on it.
