My grandfather was Glyn Davies, cyrils' brother. Growing up my father played his records and was influenced by him but branched more into folk. My father Harry Davies learnt to play the guitar and was taught by Bert Jansch who I always called 'berty ants' when I was little. Cyril did die of lukemia I saw one web page that said it was pluersy but that's not true. I am proud to be a relation of Cyril's and was stunned by how much he achieved.
