I am defending a claim in the County Court. I have just received notification that the venue has been changed fropm Northampton, my nearest court, to Blackburn, the locality of the claimant.

I had understood that a CC hearing is always at the Defendants local court. Does any one know of any reason to explain why the case has moved?, and do I have the right to insist on a more local venue.

This is ,my first post, so apologise If I am not fully aware any correct "procal".
