Could anyone please tell me the christian names of callan and emery, Dick Emery's parents, they were a double act in the 1800's. I am trying to do my family tree and Dick Emery's aunt, Alice Emery, is my great grandmother, and i am unable to progress my search.

Just come across your query but you may well have found out the answer by now. If not I can tell you Dick Emerys parents were Bertha Gilbert callan and Laurence Cuthbert Emery.
Your GG grandmother Alice Mary was born in 1899 and her father was Charles Arthur Emery who was born in Dec 1851. He was a musician.
If you check the 1901 census you will find the family with Charles A aged 49 etc in Balham, London.
Charles was an elder brother of my gggrandfather Frank.
