The painter's stage name probably is Qi Feng,and in Chinese is '契凤',the very meaning of this name is to embrace the phoenix.I haven't heard of this painter,you need to resort to professors in this field for identifying the art-value of the painting.

Is that possible Gao Qifeng or Sun Qifeng? Both are famous Chinese artist. Only I dont know for sure if they use the same character. Only Gao Qifeng in his autobiography said he ever went to Japan to learn Japanese painting technic.

they are in Chinese '孙 其峰'(Sun Qifeng) and '高 奇峰'(Gao Qifeng).I think this painter called Qi Feng('契凤') can possiblly be a Japanese(as most Japanese and Chinese like to write their name in Traditional Chinese Type).I will find some fan crazy about traditional Chinese painting to give advise to me.You have to Wait:)
