I have a unique problem that I can't seem to solve. My group operates a planetarium and have used digital audio tapes for our shows. For years we used the Tascam DA-88 and have recently begun shifting our shows onto Digital Performer software along with the Mk2408. Typically, I connect the DA-88 via audio cables (rca) to the Digital Performer interface (Mk2408) then play the show tape sending the signal into the Motu. The copy is made in real time with the Motu system and the Tascam DA-88. The tapes copy fine into the Motu system except that we have found "drift" in the time from the DA-88 to the Motu. A typical 35 minute show might drift from 15-20 seconds from the analog output signal to the new Digital Performer digital signal. Any suggestions on how we can correct this would be greatly appreciated.
