The problem then is that I want the sum of the surface area occupied bu the geometric figures to be the same for picture no 1 and picture no 2. At the same time the geometric figures can not be larger then the 1,5 x 1,5 cm square which they should occupy.

I don't know if it is better to do the squares individually and then do the measurements and resizing in imageJ. Or if I should put together the pictures with the squares and the geometric figures before going into imageJ.

I don't know what imgageJ is capable of doing. Can I change the size of a geometric figure within a picture in imageJ? And how am I capable of measuring so that the figures occupy the same surface area in the two pictures when the figures are kept separately.

It is a bit hard to explain and it says "no html tags please" so I do not know if I can put in a link to how I want the pictures to look. But if it is ok I can do that. It will probably be easier to understand.
