Continental rock is granitic and ocean basin rock is basaltic. What does this suggest about the density of continental rock in relation to ocean basin rock? How is this related to plate tectonics or crustal movement?

Oceanic Crust is denser than continental crust. This relates to plate tectonics and plate movement because due to this difference in density. Where oceanic and continental crust collides oceanic crust will always be pushed/ subduct under Continental Crust.
