Come Next Spring was partly filmed in Amador County CA and many local residents were used as extras. My question is that there seems to be two versions of the movie, the first showed a number of local residents of Amador County and had Walter Brennan having a wife. The version of the movie now available on DVD shows Mr. Brennan having lost his wife but now has a teenage son. When did the secon version replace the first version or is my memory after all trhese years at fault?
