I do not think that anyone can stop the natural progressive rising of Earth's average temperature. On the other hand however, we can attempt to lessen acts that may aggravate Earth's rising temperature. Please see:

If pollution is causing global warming,or as the Politicians put it "Carbon" emissions.Then it makes absolute sense for the whole world to act as one.
It wont work unless every country agrees.A.The price. B.The start date.
If Country A. Say China emits 1 million tonne's of carbon a year,taxes the Carbon at $50 per tonne per year,In the meantime Country B. Say India, emits the same amount of carbon but does not impose any tax,which naturally makes India's products cheaper than China. How long do you think China will continue their Carbon tax....24 hours?.
