I am a University student and I am working on a paper about human trafficking, especially as part of organised crime. I read somewhere before that arranged marriages is becoming a business or organised crime groups in under developed countries. I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on this topic or can refer some papers that discuss this issue. It may not be very widespread but is there somekind of literature on it??

I do think that there might be organisations involved but it is quite deifficult to trace due to under report and the transantional activities of these groups.
