Can anyone tell me if the portico that is there today with the inscription attributing the work to Agrippa is made from the original components (i.e. is it Agrippa's original reconstructed by Hadrian during his rebuild). There seems to be considerable confusion around this and I have had great difficulty retrieving a definitive answer (prehaps no-one knows?) I am aware that it was definately at least re-constructed by Hadrian evidenced due to the finding of date stamped bricks from Hadrians time found under the portico. What makes me wonder is its poor attachment to the main building, and strange combination of architectural styles (i.e. portico and main building). I would be grateful for any input you may have. Thanks
