you are looking at things the way that i do. physics says no because you can never get more out than you put in... what about the big bang?

arguably if you had some kind of movement linked in with a magnetic gear box you could potentially make it work but i dont think youll be thanked. im not being. my invention offers the same approach and people hate to be proven wrong.

A DC "serial" motor can work as a generator. Street cars use it to brake the vehicle and generate power back to the power line.

AC motors, like one on your picture can NOT be used to generate power, i.e. to serve as a generator. The rotor is not a magnet or designed to be one thus no possibility for power generation.

Under some circumstances some types of AC commutator motors can in principle work as a generator.
