Does anyone know what the biggest etching that corot did and what size it is. the reason i ask is, i bought a corot etching that is approx. 22.50"h.x16.5o"w.. The ecthing is of a woman and child sitting by a lake surrounded by trees and on the other side of the lake is an abbey or church or something. I took the etchingout of its frame to look at the margin but I discoverd that the previous owner cut the margin off. So hence the title was cut off to. The etching is signed in the plate in the lower left hand side. While I had it out of its frame I looked with a magnifing glass at the ink and it appears to be on top of the paper. So it seams to be correct but i just dont know what the title is or when it was done. If anyone can help me that would be awesome and if you need too look at a picture i can e=mail one. THANKS!!
