I have been working on the requirement of aluminium phosphide, understand from many manufacturers that only aluminium powder can be used to produce aluminium phosphide.

My question is why we cannot use aluminium ingot instead of aluminium powder to produce aluminium powder.

Appreciate if you can provide insights / guidance
