Recently I bought a house and moved my bussiness to my home.I got my permit etc to operated but because of a trouble maker in the neighorhood who didn't want my small bussiness across the street from her she caused all kinds of grief for me.Now I am working with city hall to either amend or change some bylaws because of unfairness of my window signage which is very attractive and professianal.Do you think that bylaws should be inforced on a complaint basis only? When all kinds of other home based bussiness operate with whatever they want and the city bylaw enforers do nothing unless someone complains or you have to be a whistler blower on someone.I think this is ver unfair law. This person complaining was out of line with harrasment to my customers with taking pictures with her camera coming and going from my hair shop and yelling at them not to park in front of her house or anywhere yet anyone is allowed to park on the street. The police paid a visit to her to inform her that she could be charged for criminal harrassment if it didn't stop.Let me tell you that this person came over and introduced herself to us when we moved in and wecomed us to the neighborhood. Then did this to me.I have no problem to obey bylaws but when it is just someone being vicious I think this is rediculious!
