Hi. I wonder if anyone can help. I have been researching a Gt Gt Uncle of mine who was a casualty during the 2nd Boer war. He was shot in the thigh and one way or another became a multiple amputee. I have a good amount of information on his military record but none on his recovery post war. I have photographs of him, along with other casulties (again, amputee's)recovering in a hospital. Would anyone know how I might be able to find out what hospital he was treated at and if there is a chance of me getting hold of his records. He was in the 2nd Bt Grenadier Guards and was wounded at the Battle of Biddulph'sberg on 29th May 1900. I understand that Netley Hospital became very busy around this time with Boer war casulties.

Thanks for reading Eddie.
