BAT MAN!! I am looking for information on a newspaper clipping from Portland, OR, Sept 7, 1937 titled Federal Bureau Clips Bat Man's Wings.
It states Leo Bretz of Seattle planned to entertain the people of Cour d'Alene, ID with a 12000 ft jump and glide to earth with his own home made Bat Wings. An inspector stopped him before he could complete his jump.
Anyone have any info?
