My question is regarding the origins of the wordings of Durood e Ibrahimi. As in, were the wordings of Durood e Ibrahimi revealed to mankind by Allah Himself? As far as i know the wordings of this Durood do not occur in the Quran (plz correct me if i am mistaken here). Moreover i want to know that was this Durood there since the time of Adam(AS) and that was the method of performing Slaat or worshipping Allah the same as it is as evident from the practice of the Holy Prophet(pbuh)? Plz answer asap! And quote any reliable sources used in the answer if any.
