I was reading that the meaning of satan in Aramaic toungue is "crazy thought" Meaning that when Jesus said "Get behind me Satan for man was not meant to live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." that in other words he was saying" Get behind me, crazy thought. We must not live by the manipulation of our minds but from the Divine .
I don't know Aramaic, but I have been looking and that is how I got here.

Well I think that makes sense, since a lot of the bad things people due are because of unreasonable, illogical or crazy thoughts.
