Are there any pictures of the station taken around 1946 to 1951, in particular the marine squadron. the reason I ask is that my dad did the first conversion on the H.S.L. Montagnais, one of 4 70 foot high speed launches, or crash boats that operated out of Jericho beach at one time. the Malacite which is in false creek in Vancouver is another one, I don't know what became of the Montagnaise after about 2007, but she too was moored and operated as a dinner cruiser out of False Creek in vancouver, till around 2006 or 7 renamed at the time, the Vancouver Spirit. she sank in the Fraser river at her moorings, was recovered, and.......anyones guess, some old pictures of her in her servise life would be interesting.
