Are Laurell K. Hamilton and Kim Harrison the same person?

Haven't read Kim Harrison yet, but thought it odd that she had her face hidden in her photo on 'A Fist Full of Charms' and I couldn't help but notice similarities between her and Ms. Hamilton, both in appearance and story themes.

No they are not the same person. They write completely different. Both great writers though. Kim has a more "relitiy" look to the things then Laurell. The way they write is totally different. Kim is blunt and to the point with discription, Laurell uses more of a luring you into her books with odd means and fun. hope this helps
