Persia is the old name of iran(aryan tribe 3000 bc came from west europ to iran and settled down in parsoomash near rezaeeye lake in north west of iran they were 3tribes Mad/Pars/Part(and they are 3 great dinesty before arabs attac) Madian lived in hegmatane (now it is hamedan) and cirus The great's mother was the doughter of Madian's king and it has a great story how he became The king of persia and made iran a big country around 2500 year ago,and the name of his father's tribe was pars and they gather in shiraz and made the Acamenian dinesty(persian),cuse of that they call iranians persian too,and also our language is persian as arab say farsi(it has chenged during many years and now we speak in farsi dari language)but as we have different tribes in iran like kordish(in west of iran),turkish(mostly west north of iran ,and they are speread in diffrent part of iran after mongol's invasion),lorish(in west between south and west),khoz(in south west near Iraq),balooch and sakzi(south east and east of iran),amard(in the north of Iran south of caspean sea),we have torkaman too they live in east part of caspean,so as you see every tribe has it's own dilect of farsi,as iran has been seen many invasion mostly the center of iran are has nobel persian familly more,exactly in yazd(the name of city in center of iran,which get less influence after arabs invaision in 1400 year ago) cuse still we have zoroaster people in this city more.and all this information is by a tourguide who is a persian girl and if you have any question you can ask me :)

No, There are many groups in Iran including: Persians, Arabs, Turkishs and Kurds...
Iran is a country. Persians have the control over it.
