Apprising a set of employees working on son-sales roles is a very difficult job. Afterall there is no tangible way of proving an employee in the end of the year that you have done a good job or not?

Companies that employ people in the areas of strategy, finacnial analytics, business analysis, backend consulting employ various matrices and ratings to apprise employees. However, employees will be unhappy in the end.
