When i checked on the origion of clapping, i found that it was mainly for heathen worship, back then in Egypt they were worshiping gods. I found out that the clappers were instruments made out of wood or ivory which were used, and they were shaped like a human forehand. The Priests told the people that the gods liked "flattery" in a way of clapping. Then the Priests also developed to like the act of being applaud to, the witch doctors also.
