I would like to share an interesting fact about our community.

According to my forefathers as they describe the word Kayasth, it can be broken in to "Kaya mein sthith". We were the group of enlightened people who opposed the division of varnas into Bramhins , Khsatriyas, Vaishyas and Shudras.

According to the sayings we proposed that every human being possess everything within their kaya; ones head represents bramhin, the shoulders represents kshatriya , the stomach represents vaishya and legs represents the shudras; hence " kaya mein sthith" comes true.

Just see yet another interesting analogy, Kayasthas are better or equal to Bramhins in knowledge management, we are equally courageous and full of self esteem like kshatriyas, we know the language of money like vaishyas and lastly we are basically a service class which resembles with Shudras.
