Am a dasa vokkaliga and am in love with a guy who is a kuruba gowda.We have plans of getting married.Guy is well educated and comes from a good and sound family.But my mom says our caste is superior and their's is very much inferior(backward class),vokkaligas never get married to kurubas itseems.My mom is pretty much orthodox,she says in olden days kurubas werent allowed to enter into houses .Is it really true what is she saying or just a perception?she thinks getting married to kurubas will be a big insult.I dont want to loose my mom nor that guy.how can i convince her?Am really worried,pls help me out.i will be eagerly waiting for your answer.thank you
