Timbales

Although I am primarily a [jazz] keyboardist (though "retired"...), I have always loved the idea of playing timbales having toyed around with drums in my earlier years. So much so that I recently bought 2-pair of timbales. This was prompted by my hearing a fantastic rendition of Tito Puente's "Para Los Rumberos" done by the band Santana in the early 1970's. You can hear the cut here:

The timbalero, Jose Chepito Areas solos from 1:13 to 1:51and I just LOVE the tone, pitch and attack he uses. My question is, can you tell me what pitch(es) the timbales are tuned to? I am assuming they are (from left to right using 4 drums): Lowest pitch, high, a low pitch, then the last is again slightly high. I'll I'd need is the tone/pitch name (e.g. D, G...etc.) and I can handle it from there.

Anyway, thanks for your time and any further information you can provide!
