After having surgery at the Cleveland Clinic to repair an aortic dissection, the stent the surgeon placed in the arch of my aorta blocks the left subclavian artery. A vascular surgeon has offered to connect the subclavian to the left coratid using gortex. Does anyone know the risks or benefits of such a surgery?
