A mechanic told me that I may need to service the distributor in my 1984 W126 500 sel. He said that the 'weights' may need to be checked. However, he claims to be always busy and he never seem to have the time to do the job. If it is that the Dist. in fact does needs checking and servicing is it possible that I can be guided to do it myself?
