A Presumption of Death - What an excellent combination of murder mystery and World War II history. : In the book the question was asked "why would a German spy come to such an out-of-the-way place? This question was never answered ... as well, what messagesdid the morse code translate to? Probably not answerable.. but just curious!

This book was especially significant for both my husband and me, as an uncle of my husband had been killed over the North Sea at about the same time, 1940, in aerial combat. The story brought the characters to life, and explained so much about England during the early days of the Second World War.
