The Haitian Revolution eliminated slavery for Haiti and established the first Republic in North America ruled by people of African Ancestry. Permanent independence. Then forced Haiti into bankruptcy using reparations paid to former slave owners. This has permanently affected the people of Haiti whom are living in tents with Cholera today. But that was not enough, America promoted repressive regimes.
Now another Historical Moment. The first person of African Ancestry wins the 2008 Presidential Election. President Barrack Obama and he is being isolated both politically and economically by The World including America with The Republicans and The Tea Party leading the way. A Republic Head Of State is a person of African Ancestry. The People should be living in the streets and millions of American should face no income for their households. The Republicans
talking point is America is heading toward bankruptcy. They set us on this path and the only legislation Republicans can discuss with any civility is tax cut for the rich. The Republicans want Americans homeless and jobless. Their only agenda is to stop a president of African Ancestry even if it means bankruptcy and isolation of America.
