I am daughter, Marysia, of Mietek Zipser, living in Nottingham, UK.

I would like to hear from any remaining squadron men or their families who would like to correspond with me. I have several photos of my father and uncle with Chappie their mascot dog, and with SONIA, the Wellington bomber they named after my mother.

My father died January 2001 after such a colourful and successful life. He never stopped working, even after selling his business Zipser Motors in Nottingham which he set up in the 1950s with his brother (Rover specialists!). He always said to me:-
1) Your health & well being are No 1 in life
2) Travel is the best education in life
3) Life is people

I am heritage tourism consultant and would very much to organise a day ooach trip to Syerston and Newton n 2011 for squadron family members. I could also include same for 305 Squadron.

Hope to hear from you.

Best wishes
Marysia Zipser

I have written a tribute to the men of 304 Squadron (ongoing)and I can direct you to it on the Internet if you are interested. I have only the dates of birth and death of your uncle but your father is a completely new name to me. I would love to include both of them if you can help me with information and/or photos. I saw you post on the Polish Culture site and left a comment but there was no email address for me to contact you. You can get in touch with me on NEVandDOREEN@aol.com

Stanislaw Jozefiak (Derby), Kazimierz Pakula (Hampshire) and Stanislaw Boczkowski (Montreal) are all still alive but in their 90's.
