Need some help, I am about to buy an Airstream 1995 model, Excella 1000 25'. My concern is that I am going to pull it with an SUV, 8 cyclinder. I took it in to the buick dealership to ensure my SUV can pull and Airstream and they showed me in my manual that I can pull up to 6700 lbs, the Airstream's dry weight is 5100 lbs. I was talking to one gentleman this week and he said don't pull it with my SUV it will ruin the transmition. But the buick dealership seemed to think I was okay pulling it. Any thoughts?
