Overview:
The constellation Vulpecula (pronouced vul pek' yoo la) is the 55th largest constellation in the night sky with an area of 268 square degrees. The name of this constellation means Fox.

Location:
Vulpecula is located at RA 20 h and Declination +25°. It is best seen between latitudes +90° and -55° in the month of September. Vulpecula is bordered by the following constellations: Cygnus, Delphinus, Hercules, Lyra, Pegasus, Sagitta.

Stars:
Vulpecula contains within its borders about 29 visible stars. The principal star of Vulpecula is Alpha Vu. The brightest of Vulpecula's stars is PY Vul (60.4 ly). Vulpecula also contains within its boundries the following noteworthy stars: Alpha Vu.
