Triangulum (pronouced try ang' yoo lum) is the 78th most volumous constellation in the night sky with
an area of 132 square degrees. The name of this constellation means Triangle.
Location:
Triangulum is located at Right Ascension 2 h and Declination +30°.
It is best seen between the latitudes +90° and -60° in the month of December.
Triangulum is adjacent to the following constellations: Andromeda,
Aries,
Perseus,
Pisces.
Stars:
Triangulum contains within its borders about 12 visible stars. The principal star of Triangulum is Ras al Muthallath. The brightest of Triangulum's stars is d Tri (35.4 ly).
This constellation also contains within its boundries the following notable stars: Mothallah.
