The constellation Telescopium (pronouced tel es koe' pee um) is the 57th largest constellation in the night sky with an area of 252 square degrees. The name of this constellation means Telescope.

Location:
Telescopium is located at RA 19 h and Declination -50°. Telescopium is best seen between latitudes +40° and -90° in the August. Telescopium is adjacent to the following constellations: Ara, Corona Australis, Indus, Microscopium, Pavo, Sagittarius.

Stars:
