Overview:
Pegasus (pronouced peg' ah sus) is the 7th most volumous constellation in the night sky with an area of 1121 square degrees. The name of this constellation means Winged Horse.

Location:
Pegasus is located at RA 23 h and Declination +20°. Pegasus is best seen between latitudes +90° and -60° in the October. Pegasus is bordered by the following constellations: Andromeda, Aquarius, Cygnus, Delphinus, Equuleus, Lacerta, Pisces, Vulpecula.

Stars:
Pegasus contains within its borders approximately 57 visible stars. The principal star of Pegasus is Markab. The brightest of Pegasus's stars is ? Peg (38.3 ly).
