an area of 378 square degrees. The name of this constellation means Peacock.
Location:
Pavo is located at RA 20 h and Declination -65°.
Pavo is best seen between the latitudes +30° and -90° in the August.
Pavo is adjacent to the following constellations: Apus,
Ara,
Indus,
Octans,
Telescopium.
