Location:
Octans is located at RA 22 h and Declination -90°.
It is best seen between the latitudes +0° and -90° in the month of October.
Octans is bordered by the following constellations: Apus,
Chamaeleon,
Hydrus,
Indus,
Mensa,
Pavo,
Tucana.
