Overview:
The constellation Musca (pronouced mus' kuh) is the 77th most volumous constellation in the night sky with an area of 138 square degrees. The name of this constellation means Fly.

Location:
Musca is located at RA 12h 27m and Declination "-70° 20' 24""°". Musca is best seen between latitudes +10° and -90° in the May. Musca is bordered by the following constellations: Apus, Carina, Centaurus, Chamaeleon, Circinus, Crux.

Stars:
Musca contains within its borders about 19 visible stars. The principal star of Musca is Alpha Mus. The brightest of Musca's stars is d Mus (90.8 ly). Musca also contains within its boundries the following noteworthy stars: Alpha Mus.
