an area of 482 square degrees. The name of Monoceros means Unicorn.
Location:
Monoceros is located at RA 7.15 h and Declination -5.74°.
It is best seen between latitudes +75° and -85° in the month of February.
Monoceros is bordered by the following constellations: Canis Major,
Canis Minor,
Gemini,
Hydra,
Lepus,
Orion,
Puppis.
