an area of 334 square degrees. The name of this constellation means Wolf.

Lupus is located at RA 15 h and Declination -43°.
Lupus is best seen between the latitudes +35° and -90° in the June.
Lupus is adjacent to the following constellations: Centaurus,
Circinus,
Hydra ,
Libra,
Norma,
Scorpius.
