an area of 538 square degrees. The name of Libra means Scales.
Location:
Libra is located at RA 15 h and Declination -15°.
It is best seen between latitudes +65° and -90° in the June.
Libra is bordered by the following constellations: Centaurus,
Hydra,
Lupus,
Ophiuchus,
Scorpius,
Serpens Caput,
Virgo.
Stars:
Libra contains within its borders approximately 35 visible stars. The principal star of Libra is Zuben el Genubi. The brightest star is HD 131977 (19.3 ly).
